This month Rabbi Cardozo will return to Limmud UK, to be held at the University of Warwick, from December 23 – 29, with over 3,000 participants in attendance. One of the most important international venues for Jewish education and learning, Limmud has again invited Rabbi Cardozo as a featured presenter at the conference.

Rabbi Cardozo’s Presentation Schedule at Limmud Conference:

Monday, December 26, 2011

12:30 – 13:30

Panel with Dr. Elliot Malamet:

Faith, Doubt and the Road Ahead: Struggling with Our Judaism

17:10 – 19:10

Lecture: Spinoza, the Kotzker Rebbe, and I

Why were Spinoza’s “Ethics” not given at Sinai? On rebellion, heresy and deliberate misreading.  Why Spinoza should have met the Kotzker Rebbe, and remained an orthodox Jew while staying a holy atheist.  A crucial message for today.

Panel with Rabbi Joel Levy, Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner, and Rabbi Deborah Kahn-Harris:

Practicing Judaism in a Secular Age: the Future of Halacha

Wednesday, December 28, 2011
